Group Description :
Pickleball is a cross between badminton, tennis and table tennis. It is played indoors on a badminton court. This group is for Beginners, Improvers and those members who are More Experienced. IMPORTANT: Beginners are encouraged to attend the below course -
Pickleball – Safe Introduction for Beginners

The Physical Activity of Pickleball, is likely to be of vigorous intensity e.g. running for a bus. Your heart and breathing is likely to increase to a much faster rate and you will need to breathe more deeply.
The Physical Agility is high level, requiring rapid changes of direction, good decision making and reasonable hand-eye co-ordination, which will enable members to make sound judgements and rapid changes of direction when responding to the movement of the ball. Members will require comfortable clothing and gym shoes/trainers with a white/light sole. (To avoid marking the court). Coached games will be available for beginners, played in a friendly, supportive environment and its good fun too! Members are welcome to come and see what it is like before applying to join. Physical Activity - vigorous intensity Physical Agility - high level
